R&D and Services

Introduction

Kinoge Corporation is dedicated to producing high-quality steel frame doors, windows, and curtain wall systems. With a well-trained research and development team, they have secured nearly 40 national patents. Their expertise has allowed them to overcome various technological challenges related to safety, fire resistance, thermal insulation, energy efficiency, and eco-friendliness in glass curtain walls, doors, and windows.

Traditional methods primarily use aluminium or steel, but these fall short of meeting the increasingly complex and precise structural and performance requirements of modern engineering. Cold-bending steel structures fulfill functional needs and meet stringent performance demands comprehensively, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.

The company continually innovates and upgrades its product lineup to meet market demands and practical engineering needs.

Cold Roll Forming Process

The cold bending process for door and window profiles is crucial in producing steel doors and windows, as it directly impacts their physical properties.

Cold Roll Forming is a modern, material-saving, energy-efficient metal forming process. It involves forming rolls to continuously bend metal sheets, such as coils and strips, to create specific cross-sectional profiles. This process only causes bending deformation, and the material's thickness remains consistent, making it ideal for producing high-precision, long, and large-shaped products.

A roller-type continuous cold-bending process is employed in the steel door and window material production. During the forming process, the tail end of one strip roll is aligned and butt-welded with the head of the following strip roll, ensuring continuous entry into the forming machine. This method is efficient, productive, and versatile.

The primary advantages of this process include:

  • Reduced material cost due to minimal cutting loss from using tape coils.
  • The ability to process profiles with complex shapes.
  • Minimized distortion and openings at the head and tail of the profile.
  • Improved productivity as the operation is nearly continuous.

Cold-formed products find applications in construction, automotive manufacturing, mining machinery, agriculture, shipbuilding, petrochemicals, instrumentation, containers, textiles, highways, metal shelving, household appliances, and more.
